This week in Northern NJ the weather seemed to take a turn for the best and we actually got above freezing! It’s been snowing and in the teens for weeks before that but even so, the Real Estate Spring market is in full swing and keeping us super busy!

That means no time for blogging but I thought you’d want to see what we’ve been up to?

We put most of the decorating projects on hold till things slow down and for now we are just trying to keep up with all the staging!

Would you like to take a tour?

This cute Bungalow in Closter although totally rehabbed sat empty for a couple of months and finally got dressed.

This photo was taken when I first saw it empty.

The living room looks like it would be too small and buyers were confused about the entry and how they would use the space. We think we fixed that!

It has such wonderful light and a charming front porch and just feels like home!  It was a real pleasure staging this one and we don’t expect it to last long!

We also staged this Owner Occupied in Maplewood but this time we were using the clients existing furniture. We made recommendations for new paint colors on the walls and some furniture rearranging but it still felt unfinished. When that happens, we recommend the client make the recommended purchases or have us come back. We were glad the clients decided to have us back to accessorize and “Speed Stage” for a couple of hours which made all the difference in the world!

I understand they got multiple offers over asking within a couple of days so we are thrilled for them!

In case you are wondering, this beautiful color on the walls is Benjamin Moore’s Boothbay Gray HC-165. The walls were previously painted a minty green and did not enhance the features of the homes or the brick fireplace and the client was willing to repaint.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the tour! The rest of the week was full of consultations so hopefully I’ll have more to show you next week!

If you or someone you know is in Northern NJ and would like help selling their home, we hope you’ll recommend us!

Have a great weekend!
