The Real Estate market has me running from one house to another with arms full of rugs, lamps, accessories and of course art. My Home Staging inventory is seriously depleted with so many homes staged…  So this week I was on the hunt for art and I was seriously disappointed. This time of year HomeGoods has mostly coastal art,  so lots of seashells, boats, etc..  I can usually find something but I needed art that would work in kitchens and that was nowhere to be found..

Vintage looking florals are cute but not really right for Staging, although I like the look…

Botanicals can work in more traditional homes but again they are usually not big enough to use in Staging.

Bigger is better since sellers don’t want a million holes in their walls…

I’m going to order some of Cathrine Holm’s art found here for future projects but still leaves me empty for the 2 homes we are staging at the end of this week.

So unless you’re into roosters and coffee, the pickins are slim when it comes to wall art.  I guess I’m using my my no fail big clock in these 2 homes..

Thanks for stopping and putting up with my sporadic posting…  I’ll be back soon when things slow down.. Have a good week everyone!
