I started this post almost 2 weeks ago and in draft mode it stayed. Welcome to the Real Estate Spring selling season…

So today I’m just popping in to share some of what’s been going on in my world via some iPhone photos…

If you follow me on Instagram, you might of seen some of these already.. I’ve been crazy busy,  which is a good thing, but sometimes a girl needs to rest! So this weekend (actually 2 weeks ago now) my husband surprised me with a quick overnight to Hudson NY, where these were taken.. If you are in the NYC area, I highly recommend it for a quick getaway..  I just loved their Main St where there were so many fabulous shops and restaurants and the best late 1800’s architecture… I’m a sucker for brick homes and this town has tons of them!

We had a great dinner at DaBa where I had the best Lemon Merengue pie I’ve ever tasted in this cute little dish..

We walked around, had a nice lunch at Swoon Kitchenbar  and we were home by 5:00. I’m so glad we decided to go and I hope to do this more in the future..

And of course when you are this busy your own house suffers a bit and nothing gets done! I know some of you can relate!!

But today I managed to get to Home Depot to pick up some more plants to bring some greenery into the house. Have you noticed how they all of a sudden seem to be everywhere and a room just falls flat without them?

Yep! Plants are hot right now… To see which ones, check out my blog post from a few months ago..

These 2 came home with me today and happen to be low maintenance and require low light.. I’m lucky to have a green thumb (like my mother) but these days less maintenance is not a bad thing..

And of course, you can’t go wrong with this Snake plant (seen here in my white Ikea pot)…

All the projects that I want to complete in my own home are now on the back burner…  but I found this 8 Ft square rug at HomeGoods in this gorgeous cobalt blue and it came home with me and is now on my dining room floor. We were in desperate need of a new rug so I’m happy.

I’ve completed a couple of client projects I’d like to share but that will have to wait until I have some free time.  Hope I’ll still have some readers by then:)

Till next time and as always thanks for stopping by and brightening my day!
