Most of our weekends around here are busy with 3 teenage kids but this one was busier than most. It happened to be a beautiful warm weekend which we SO needed here on the East Coast. One of the highlights was traveling into the city to see my daughter and our high school choir compete at St Bartholomew’s in Manhattan and I’m proud to say they earned both the top score and the featured performance the next day!
For my readers who are not familiar with St Bart’s, it’s a historic parish founded in 1835 and it’s located on Park Avenue and it has a nice restaurant right next door in the prettiest setting. A great place to sit and just people watch and enjoy the sunshine!
New York is so pretty in the Spring and for those of you who have never been, I snapped some iPhone pics for you. I also shared these on Instagram and if you happen to be on there, I’d love for you you to follow along!
After the competition, the kids ended the day by going on a cruise around Manhattan.
We also had our monthly “Mystery Dinner” with friends and the rest of my weekend, I shopped for Staging inventory for our next project this coming Tuesday. Nothing got done in the house like I planned but I’ll get to some of it today…
We had a good weekend and I hope you did too!
