Good morning everyone and Happy Black Friday!
I hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving with your friends and family and enjoyed eating yourselves into a stupor! We had a really nice time visiting with both sides and we ate way too much… But that’s what Thanksgiving is all about right?
Today I’m helping a fellow Stager on a huge project which will take all day but I wanted to share with you the rest of my client Donna’s living and dining room makeover. Unfortunately I don’t have a before photo of her living room handy, but I’ll share it when I get one from her.
You’ve already seen her dining room transformation here and her living room also got a makeover.
The yellow paint on the walls was changed to Sherwin Williams Comfort Gray SW6205 to tie in more with the dining room and her green sofa was reupholstered in a soft gold. She picked up a gorgeous Armoire on Craigslist that cost her $200 and even though it was a little big for the room, she really wanted it in there and we made it work.

Here is another shot going into the dining room.

The chair was picked up at an antique store and reupholstered in a creamy linen. The drapes were a little bit of a splurge but we cut them in half since they were a little too full for the windows so we saved a little there. All in all, we were able to redecorate this room on a tight budget and spend a little more on the dining room.
If you’ve been thinking that you need to freshen up that tired room, you’d be amazed that all it takes are a few tweaks and you don’t have to spend a lot. If you are local in Northern NJ, give us a call and schedule that first appointment to get started or take a look at our affordable online services here
Till next time and have a great day!
