Hello there ~

Today, I’m sharing something a little different with you. The latest house we staged sat empty for over 5 months and the first room you walked into had Lilac carpeting. Not so great for that important “First Impression”.

A vacant house is a tough sell (cold, empty, etc) anyway, and the carpeting didn’t help. Without hardwood floors underneath and the owners refusing to replace it, we had to make it work somehow. When you can’t change it, embrace it!

Bringing in a soft neutral palette of grays, creamy whites and dark furniture helped the carpeting
 fade into the background.

Dining Area
Up to date accessories were brought in to give this space more of a younger feel.
Master Bedroom

This bedroom was a very bright green when we first saw it. Benjamin Moores Edgecomb Gray creates a soothing Master Bedroom buyers will love!

Updated Kitchen

Pops of color here keep this kitchen from looking bland and appeals to buyers.

Buyers like neutral walls but actually complain about “Beige” fatigue so we recommend adding a little color to the walls when trying to sell.

Thanks for stopping by and if you need help getting your home ready to sell, I’d love to help. For those of you not local, I offer e-consultations. Contact me for details.
